Katherine Wyatt
Katherine Wyatt, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, comes from a family of artists and writers that date back into the 1500′s. Her mother was a cartoonist whose work was published all over the world. Katherine’s father was a writer in the corporate world and had started his career in newspaper journalism as a young man. Katherine was formerly a ballet dancer trained at the prestigious School of American Ballet and danced the New York City Ballet repertoire for many years. She then went to college and studied World Religions and Humanities where she obtained her first Masters degree from Florida State University. After college Katherine taught junior college. She has written all her life. In 1989 she began a journey of spirituality that led her around the world and to India. She has studied and taught yoga for almost twenty years. With a strong background in the arts and a deep interest in spirituality, her poetry reflects the spirit of the human connection to the divine. Her work is inspired by both eastern and western traditions. Katherine continues to write pursuing a Masters of Science in Instructional Design.
